How political campaigns affect citizens

Dear Editor,

If you cluttered my mail box with those glossy campaign ads – actually if you cluttered my mailbox with any campaign ads – you’d get fired.

If I had to stop what I was doing and answer the phone and your political message was on there, you’d get fired!

If I were to wade through your political hooey on my message machine to get the messages I felt were really important, you’d get fired!

I don’t do any new hires or rehires, with the exception of some alternative political parties.

For the Eagle County Candidates, if you’re an incumbent, you got fired! Yes, a lot of us know how we are referred to over on the other side of the hill. Hopefully the new people I voted for will do a better job. If not they’ll be fired, too!
