Dear Editor,
Some of us are warriors …
longing to make things right.
Some of us are pacifists …
“marching”; no vision in sight.
Some of us are patriots …
defending the land so bright.
Some of us are procrastinators …
delaying with all their might.
However:
Most of us show bravery,
Most of us show loyalty,
Most of us show honor,
For our country and our troops abroad.
(And the leftover hippies, will just be leftover hippies … again.)
