In memory of Jeff Zerbato
Dear Editor,
What a tragic loss we had on New Year’s Day in losing Jeff. Jeff was the most amazing friend and baseball coach to many boys in this town. Jeff truly loved and enjoyed coaching the boys. He played all boys whether they were really good players or whether they were not as good. My son was only on Jeff’s team one year, but it was the most enjoyable year we have had in baseball. There is a real feeling of loss for those of us that had a chance to have Jeff and his family in our lives. I hope that there is baseball in heaven, because Jeff will be doing what he loves there. To Fran, Jeff’s wife, to Zach, his son, and Jessica, his daughter, thank you for sharing your dad with all of us, he was a remarkable man.
