Indra Jo Prien

Indra Jo Prien, 33, diva and classical musician, passed away Sept. 5, 2005, in San Francisco from complications from asthma.Indra was born Sept. 16, 1971, in Denver, to Jaimes Hartmann and Jerry Prien.She graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 1989 and received eight scholarships to the University of Colorado. She attended the University of San Francisco, studying music.She will be remembered as a loving mother and friend who brought life and laughter into every situation. Indra will be deeply missed and remembered always by her family and dear friends.Survivors include her mother, Jaimes, of Glenwood Springs; father, Jerry Prien, of Nebraska; daughter, Angelina Dumigron, of Asheville, N.C.; siblings Jake and Jesse Hartmann, both of Denver; and grandparents Irene and Anthony Vigil, of Denver.Cremation has already taken place in San Francisco.There will be a celebration of her life from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bayou Restaurant in Glenwood Springs.
