Information wanted on Parachute armed robbery

Garfield County Crime Stoppers and the Parachute Police Department are searching for information on an armed robbery of a store in Parachute that occurred on Wednesday, June 8.

Parachute Police report that the suspect entered the Tiendita El Paisano store at 141 East 1st Street in Parachute at 3:53 p.m. on Wednesday. The man told the clerk he had a gun. He collected an unknown amount of money and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a medium build, a partial goatee, and a tattoo on his right forearm.



Anyone with information that will lead to the arrest and/or indictment of a suspect or suspects involved in this case is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 945-0101 or visit the website http://www.garcocrimestoppers.com.
