Information wanted: Reward offered in hit-and-run case
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest or prosecution in a hit-and-run in Glenwood Springs Saturday morning.The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office announced the reward Tuesday morning. Authorities are asking for anyone with information about the incident. Anyone can remain anonymous and contact Glenwood Springs Police at 384-6500, Garfield County Crimestoppers at 945-0101, or through the Internet at http://www.glenwoodpolice.com/tips. Sometime between 5 and 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning, local running legend Paul Driskill was struck by a passing motorist in the 3300 block of old Grand Avenue near the Rosebud Cemetery. The vehicle fled and left Driskill severely injured by the side of the road.
