Innovator joins local CMC campus as assistant dean

Education innovator Terry Miller has joined Colorado Mountain College as the Roaring Fork Campus’ new assistant campus dean for instruction.

Miller pioneered the innovative “self-paced learning labs” at Western Iowa Community College. Now he will be responsible for learning opportunities created by CMC’s faculty in Glenwood Springs, Carbondale and Spring Valley.

Dr. Bob Franzese, a former co-worker, said students who don’t learn best through lectures have benefited from Miller’s labs.
