Internet group to get new board

GLENWOOD SPRINGS ” The Roaring Fork Internet Users Group will soon have a brand new board.
Elections are coming soon and none of the current members of the board plans to run for another term.
“We’ll let the new board have it,” board member Joe O’Donnell said at a board meeting Tuesday.
Meanwhile, RoFIntUG co-founder Richard Sherman offered to manage the nonprofit Internet service provider for three years for no fee.
He proposed making the ISP a for-profit enterprise and revamping it to make the home page more exciting and dynamic.
He also proposed lowering the monthly membership fee from $19.95 a month to $11 a month.
No decisions were made Tuesday.
The deadline to apply to be a RoFIntUG Board member is Friday morning.
Then if there are nine candidates or less, each person will get a seat. If there are more, an election will take place.
