Interstate 70 reopens

Interstate 70 has reopened after being closed most of the day.

Chains are still required for all commercial vehicles on Vail Pass and Eisenhower. There is also a high-wind advisory in effect.

I-70 was closed to through traffic between East Vail and Floyd Hill due to extreme winds, blowing snow, poor visibility and hazardous road conditions from mid morning Friday into the late afternoon.



Berthoud Pass and Loveland Pass remained closed Friday evening.
