Iris C. Mangnall

Iris C. Mangnall, of Cory, formerly of Glenwood Springs, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at Sunrise Homes Assisted Living in Delta. She was 79. Iris was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Rangely to George and Olive McGetrick Culver. Mrs. Mangnall spent her childhood in Rangely and graduated from Glenwood Springs High School. Iris married William Mangnall in August 1981 in Glenwood Springs.She worked as a waitress for many years in Glenwood Springs restaurants, and was a member of the Elks and Eagles lodges of Glenwood Springs. She enjoyed playing bingo and shooting pool, golfing and fishing.She moved to Cory three years ago to be with family.Iris is survived by sons Michael Ratkiewicz, of Denver, Steve Ratkiewicz, of Cory, Joseph Ratkiewicz, of Denver; daughter Barbara Snider, of Rifle; sister Carmelita Bloch, of Evans; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and one brother.There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.
