Issues and Answers night to address Refs C and D

The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association in cooperation with the Post Independent is hosting the 20th annual Issues and Answers Night from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. The event is being held in conjunction with the “Bizopoly” Business Showcase and Job Fair.Former State Representative Gregg Rippy will discuss Referendums C and D at 5 p.m., and former Glenwood Springs Mayor Sam Skramstad will discuss Glenwood Springs ballot issue 2A and the Street Maintenance and Reconstruction Tax at 5:30. City Council candidates Kristen Chadwick and Dave Johnson have been invited to meet and greet the public from 5-7 p.m.The “Bizopoly” Business Showcase and Job Fair runs from noon until 8 p.m. and features handouts, giveaways and drawings every hour on the hour. Several area restaurants are providing complimentary food, and complimentary beverages will be served from 5-7 p.m. at the chamber Business After Hours mixer.
