J.E. DeVilbiss
Aspen City Councilman and former longtime Carbondale resident J.E. DeVilbiss, 73, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, from natural causes. A mass service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 533 E. Main St. in Aspen. A community service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Paepcke Auditorium, 1000 N. Third St. in Aspen; with a reception at 5 p.m. Sept. 27, at the Aspen Elks Lodge on the corner of Hyman and Galena.
