Jack Wohlstadter, M.D.

Jack Wohlstadter, M.D. passed away peacefully at Cedars/Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Aug. 12.

Raised in the Midwest, he served his country in WWII, graduated medical school in Kirksville, MO., and served his patients faithfully with dignity in Los Angeles for 32 years.

In 1990, Jack and his wife Brenda retired to Carbondale, Colo. sharing time between there and Rancho Mirage, Calif. for the past 22 years. Jack was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed golfing, fishing and skiing. He had many friends, and he greatly treasured those friendships.

He loved his profession and family and lived his life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

He leaves behind Brenda, his devoted wife of 48 years and his children: David (Ellen), Rich, Tom (Hana), Andrea (Rick) and Scott (Ursula); 9 grandchildren and his sister Elaine (Sid) Blitz and the entire Blitz-Strause family.
