James LeRoy "Roy" Mosher

James LeRoy “Roy” Mosher of Gypsum died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, in Casper, Wyo. He was 77.

He was born April 4, 1925, in Gypsum to Agnes Quinlan and James Lawrence Mosher. He grew up in Gypsum and attended Eagle County High School.

He married Glenora “Tiny” Carter on June 5, 1952, at Glenwood Springs. She survives.



Mr. Mosher was a rancher and trucker. He lived in Gypsum and Eagle.

He was a member of the Glenwood Springs Church of Christ and the National Rifle Association.



Mr. Mosher’s family was his greatest interest. He had a great sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by brothers John Mosher and Bobby Mosher; and by sisters Laurenne Williams and Cynthia Scarrow.

Mr. Mosher is survived by his wife, Tiny Mosher of Glenrock, Wyo.; by sons Dave Mosher of Glenrock and Gene Mosher of Palm Bay, Fla.; by daughters Cheryl Ettles of Glenrock and Laurie Mosher of Wilsail, Mont.; by a brother, Marion “Pete” Mosher of El Paso, Texas; by a sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Lewis of Rifle; by seven grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Glenwood Springs Church of Christ, 260 Soccerfield Road, Glenwood Springs, with the Rev. Mark Hauptli officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Christ Building Fund.
