James P. "Jim" Murphy

Jim died peacefully at his home after a long illness. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to George Hutchinson & Anna Murphy. Jim loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his wife Marianne of 53 years, 9 months, and his son, David; his cousins George and Betty Murphy of Farmington, Pennsylvania, Betty and Kenneth Craig of Wooster, Ohio, and John F. and Anne Marie Deeser of Silt, Colorado; nieces Vera and Charlie Gaines of Wooster, Ohio, Cheryl Lee and Rick Kenney of Shelby, Ohio, and Sandy and Tim Mangnall of Centennial, Colorado; and great-nieces and -nephews. Cremation and celebration of his life took place, with Pastor John Jayne officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alpine Hospice in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
