Jason Bailey

Jason Bailey of Glenwood Springs died Thursday, April 8, at his home. He was 27.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, at Northeast Christian Church, 2001 Patterson Road in Grand Junction.

Mr. Bailey was born June 19, 1976, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction to John Joseph Bailey and Pamela B. “Penny” Weeks. He spent his childhood in Grand Junction and attended school there.

He married Danielle Brunty of Grand Junction. They moved to Glenwood Springs in 2004.

Mr. Bailey loved his job in construction as a pipe layer.

He never knew a stranger, and everyone he met was a friend. He had an outgoing personality and smile.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Danielle Brunty-Bailey; by children Jeremiah, Trey, Mikinzie and Mandie, all of Glenwood Springs; by his mother, Pamela “Penny” Weeks of Charlotte, N.C.; by his father and stepmother, John and Jeannette Bailey of Grand Junction; by sisters Brittany, Jaclyn and Breann of Grand Junction; by aunt and uncle Karen and Mike Roberts, with whom he lived for a short time; and by his father-in-law, Rick Brunty.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jason Bailey Memorial at the Bank of Colorado, P.O. Box 968, Grand Junction, CO 81502.
