Jason G. Granato
Jason G. Granato, of Glenwood Springs, died on June 3.
He was born at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, on May 6, 1984.
Jason graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 2003. He worked as a pool technician at the Hot Springs Pool. He was an avid soccer player and proud father of his two-and-a-half-year-old son, Nolan. Jason, well known for his great smile, was always there to make friends laugh and was considered a good friend to all who knew him.
Jason is survived by his son, Nolan Roy Granato; father, Ronnie George Granato; mother, Linda Jo Nightingale; brother, Mike Vetter; and sisters, Jennifer Vetter Wesseling, Emily Granato, Kami Jo Granato Holbrook, and Ronni Lin Granato.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 409 29th St., Glenwood Springs. Bishop Warren will officiate the services. Memorial contributions for Jason’s son can be made in his name at American National Bank.

Forest Service investigates Independence Pass snowmobiling case; alleged culprit posted pictures on social media
Numerous people have identified Breckenridge resident David Lesh as one of the men riding snowmobiles on snow-free terrain near Aspen. Lesh has posted several pictures of his illegal activity on social media, including snowmobiling at what he identified as the summit of Mount Elbert.
