Jean D. Harris

Jean Donelda Harris, 91, of Payson, Ariz., died Jan. 6, 2005. She was born in Winnipeg and moved to Glenwood Springs as a child. She married Elvin Harris in 1931. During World War II, she worked at the Goodie Shop on Main Street and operated the Glenwood Creamery with her husband. During the 50s and 60s she worked at the greenhouse florist shop. Jean was also a 50-year member of the Glenwood Eagles and of the women’s auxiliary of the Elks, in which her husband was a charter member.Jean moved to California with her husband in 1984, and then to Arizona in 1995.Her husband preceded her in death.She is survived by her son Don (Janice) Harris of Payson; grandchildren Debra (Jim) Swanson, of Payson; Donna (David) Shelton, of California; and three great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter, of California.
