Jeffrey Brian Leigh, well known, loved and respected president of Jeffrey B. Leigh & Associates, Inc., died at his summer home in Colorado after a long illness at the age of 63. He had been in the insurance business for the last 40 years, and was a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table.Jeff was an avid golfer and member of Riviera Country Club in Coral Gables, Florida and Aspen Glen Country Club in Carbondale, Colorado.Jeff graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1965 where he played football and the University of Miami with a degree in business in 1969 and served in the U.S. Army. He served on the Fellowship Of Christian Athletes (FCA) Board of Directors for many years. He was a supporter of FCA and strongly believed that the organization has a life changing impact on young athletes.Jeff is survived by Riane, his beloved wife of more than thirty years and his sister, Linda and her husband, Dr. Phillip E. “Pete” Wright of Bradenton, Florida. He has one niece, two nephews and seven grand nieces and nephews: Laura and Craig Baird, Mary Katherine and Will of Plano, Texas; Brian and Leigh Anne Wright, Bennett, Davis and Hayes of Charlotte, North Carolina and David and Leigh Wright, Phillip and Joseph of Madison, Mississippi.In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Fellowship Of Christian Athletes, Miami Chapter, P.O. Box 140594, Coral Gables, FL 33114.A Memorial Service in Miami is planned for the fall.Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
