Longtime resident of the Roaring Fork Valley Jerry D. Schwab, passed away Sunday, April 17 at home in Lawson, Missouri. Jerry was born Oct. 20, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas. He passed away after a long struggle with C.O.P.D.

He is survived by his wife Julie, family pets Tibby and K.C. and a large extended family.

Jerry loved life.

Always kind, reliable and thoughtful, he enjoyed helping friends and those in the community. Jerry loved camping, hunting and fishing. He was a trained blacksmith and loved working with horses and horse-back riding. He was a fantastic mechanic and enjoyed tinkering with cars. He was a good friend, a kind man and will be missed by all.

A celebration of his life will be held in the near future.
