John B. Flanagan

John was born in Yonkers, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Flanagan.

Son, father, brother, husband and friend to many.

John served in the Navy, worked construction, operated heavy equipment, he was a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed being a bouncer, Loyal devoted partner. He was a caring, giving, warm-hearted person who would have given his shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Known to most as Carbomb and only to a select few as Johnny. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.

He is survived by his younger brother Eddie and niece Joey of Sarasota, Florida.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Miners Claim in Silt on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. He will be buried with honors at a private ceremony at a later date.
