John Harvey Lesh

John Harvey Lesh passed away Sept. 28, 2005. He was 85.

John was born Aug. 19, 1920, in Indiana.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.



John married Alma Christine Klein on April 19, 1949, in Rensselaer, Ind. He moved his family to Colorado in the early 1960s.

He came to Colorado to go into business with his brother in the Glenwood Aspen Stage. He was also affiliated with the Little Percent Taxi and Limousine Service, which ran between Aspen and Glenwood Springs.



Later, John worked for Mid Continent as a truck driver. John owned the Lesh Mobile Home and RV Park on the Roaring Fork River.

John is survived by his wife, of Rensselaer; daughter Susan (Nick) Hamer, of Rensselaer; son John George (Laurie) Lesh, of Silt; and two grandchildren.

His brother, Harold Lesh, preceded him in death.

Masonic/Methodist services and burial were Sept. 30 in Rensselaer.
