John Jacob Miller

A memorial service celebrating the life of John Jacob Miller IV will be at 11 a.m. July 9 at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 1016 Cooper Ave., Glenwood Springs. There will be a lunch reception at the church after the service.

John J. Miller was a resident of Glenwood Springs from 1976 -1997. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas, lifelong employee of General Electric, attained the rank of major in the U.S. Army, and was an accomplished skier and avid golfer.

John was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth (Betty) Sterling Miller. He is survived by his wife Margaret Becker Miller; brother Robert Miller; two children; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
