John Milton Seastrom

John Milton Seastrom, 53, passed away unexpectedly June 24, 2007, from heart failure.

John was always a kind, decent, good man who loved his family and friends deeply.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Alaine; brother James (Lena) Seastrom of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and sister Dr. Lynn (Greg) Short of Atlanta.

As John lived his life in reverence of the world around him, choosing to live in the mountains, he will be honored and remembered with a wake at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the Group Pavilion in Rifle Gap Reservoir. This was one of John’s most favorite places.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Alpine Bank to benefit the cause most dear to his heart, the Colorado Animal Rescue (CARE) and the Rifle Animal Shelter.
