Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

There will be a celebration of John Palmer’s life at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Flying Dog Ranch on Prince Creek Road south of Carbondale.

Palmer, of Carbondale, died June 15 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was 62.

Parking for the memorial celebration will be at Roaring Fork High School in Carbondale, as the limited parking at Flying Dog Ranch is restricted to the elderly, disabled and family members.

Those attending the memorial should be at the high school parking lot, 2270 Highway 133, beginning at noon for shuttles to and from the venue.

Attendees are also asked to bring a favorite dish for the potluck dinner.
