John Scott Riddile

John Scott Riddile of Milwaukee, Wisc., died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003. He was 86.

He was born in Grand Mere, Quebec, Canada, to Adda Boyd and John Riddile, who were American citizens.

He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and served as a Naval commander in World War II.



He married Harriet Clarkson on July 17, 1943. They lived in Whitefish Bay, Bayside and Alexian Village.

Mr. Riddile worked for General Motors for 32 years. After retirement, he volunteered with the Service Corps of Retired Executives. He was a charter member of North Shore Congregational Church.



He is survived by his wife, Harriet Riddile of Milwaukee; by sons and daughters-in-law Scott Riddile and Patricia Hudson of Orlando, Fla., Andrew Riddile and Rita Swan of North Bethesda, Md., and Arthur Riddile and Mari Matuschek of New Castle; by six grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews, including Paul Clarkson of Eagle.

A memorial service was held, and burial was at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee.
