Johnson family enjoys a memorable trip

Post Independent/April E. Clark

Operation Vacation is a program that brings to the Roaring Fork Valley military personnel who have fought overseas. Bob Johnson, a realtor for Vicki Lee Green Realtors, in Glenwood Springs, coordinated with the Army to create the program that hosts soldiers in Glenwood every month. More than 20 businesses have donated dinners, entertainment, outdoor activities, lodging and transportation for Operation Vacation participants.

This trip has been pretty memorable.

As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be in the military. I signed my first contract before my senior year in high school.

I like to do stuff with my family ” usually our time together involves homework, the everyday routine

I know she (Shana) is looking forward to the spa. For me, the paragliding.
