Julienne Sikorski

Post Independent
Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

Julienne Sikorski was born in Detroit, Michigan Nov. 17, 1933 to Leo and Lorraine Justin, and passed away April 23, 2012 at Valley View Hospital, Glenwood Springs, Colo.

Julie was a mother, homemaker and adventurous. A “gypsy” at heart, she loved traveling, the Colorado mountains, children, John Denver, Frank Sinatra and the Lord.

As she would always say, “I did it my way.”

She was loved by many and will always be remembered for her joyful, loving, gracious heart. We will miss you, Mom. Rest peacefully in the arms of our Savior Jesus.

She is survived by her brother Curtis Justin of Michigan and her loving children: John Witherow, Linda Witherow Dittmer, Kathy (Don) Levin, Dan (Candy) Witherow, Victoria (Fred) Myer, and Laura Sikorski; son-in-law Dennis Dittmer; grandchildren: Jesse Dittmer, Alexis Turner, Eric Myer, Morgan Perry, Megan Cuwalowski and Joe Witherow; great-grandchildren: Julian and Naqkara Dittmer, Clark, Lincoln and Leona Turner, Logan Perry, Gage Witherow; and all the children she loved and called her own, and her many friends everywhere.

A memorial celebrating Julie’s life will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 312 7th Street, Glenwood Springs.
