Karla recognized
Dear Editor,
I would like to recognize an outstanding nurse at Valley View Hospital. I know her only as Karla. Such tireless competence and sincere caring have undoubtedly left her mark on many patients like myself.
Simple gestures such as help with a shower and painstakingly inserting an IV in the wee hours of the night will always be remembered.
She shared with me that she was named Employee of the Year by a former employer, winning two weeks in Sweden, if I’m remembering right. I can see why.
Hopefully, Karla, you’ll read this. God bless you, and you’ve certainly my vote for Best Nurse and Compassionate Caregiver.
Thank you for being a bright spot in my recent hospital stay.
