Kathleen Suzanne LaVaune

Kathleen Suzanne LaVaune of Glenwood Springs died Thursday, June 12, 2003, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Snowmass. She was 37.

She was born Sept. 28, 1965, in Denver to Joan C. Trostel and William Frank Cope.

She graduated from Green Mountain High School and attended Red Rocks Community College. She was a lifelong resident of Colorado.

Ms. LaVaune worked in data entry. She was most recently employed at Glenwood Springs Harley Davidson.

She is survived by her parents, Frank and Joan Cope of Lakewood; by a son, Alex Miller, 3 1/2, of Denver; by a brother, Richard Cope of Denver; and by a sister, Holly Miller of Denver.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church, 129 W. Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, with the Rev. Doug Maben officiating.

Interment will follow in the church columbarium.

Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
