Katrina Anna Kneepkens

Katrina Anna Kneepkens of Parachute died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, in Parachute. She was 45.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 9, at the All Saints Episcopal Church in the Historic Christian Church, 116 W. 2nd St., Parachute. Rev. Bruce Moncrieff will officiate.

She was born April 8, 1958, in Denver to Bob Gene Cothran and Rae Caroline Petefish.



She worked as a nurse’s aide in Parachute for 10 years.

She married Marc Kneepkens on Jan. 26, 1999, in Mesquite, Nev. He survives.



Mrs. Kneepkens loved children ” all children ” loved to spoil everybody’s children, loved to help people and had a wonderful, loving heart.

She also loved fishing, camping and all outdoor activities. She was a happy person.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Gene Cothran.

Mrs. Kneepkens is survived by her husband, Marc Kneepkens of Parachute; by her mother, Rae Caroline Cothran; by her son, Timothy King; by her stepchildren, Alina, Maaike, Samme and Tilman Kneepkens; by brothers Raymond and Robert Cothran, both of Denver; and by sisters Kaelin McAlary of Parachute and Pamela Giron of Aurora.

Memorial contributions may be made to any Wells Fargo bank in the name of Katrina Kneepkens.
