KDNK thanks

Dear Editor,

The KDNK Spring Membership is finished for now. The drive raised over $25,000, insuring the strength of community radio.

We want to thank all those who became new or renewing members … and those that didn’t, well, we’ll take your money any time!

We also want to thank our fine Love Slaves including Patty Schenck, Social, Katie Scott, Robin, Darcie, Angela Rose, Doug Tucker, Jennifer Wolfson, Missy James, Peg Holmes, John Stroud, Barbara Collins, Bill Flannigan, Roy Rickus, Doug Rintell, Phoenix Anderson, Peter Bock, Brooke, Leslie, Hillary, Annika and Patrick Johnson, Art Ackerman, Craig Silberman, Jean Marie Hegarty, Mike Chamness, Sister Kate, Kathy Goudy, and everyone else who helped. Our Guest DJ Day was a rousing success with Steve Skinner from KSPN winning the dinner for two at Six89 by bringing in the most members in an hour. All the guests were great, though, so thanks to Gabe Chenoweth, Andrew Kole, Steve Skinner, Tom Eirmin, Mike Waters, and Don Chaney. Once again, many businesses took care of us in our pursuit of membership.

Many thanks to Dos Gringos Burritos, La Cocina, Aspen Square Lodge, Six89, Janus Jazz Aspen, Flying Dog Brewery, Taos Solar Music Fest, Mountain Groove Productions, Wild Rose Bakery, Village Smithy, Peppino’s Pizza, and Atlas Pizza. All in all we think getting to be a public radio station in this fine valley is an honor indeed, so tune in anytime. We’re here for you!!
