Keegan Isabelle Narvaez

Keegan Isabelle Narvaez of New Castle died Friday, April 16, 2004, at her home. She was 6.

A community celebration of Keegan’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at the gazebo at Kathryn Senor Elementary School in New Castle.

Keegan was born Jan. 29, 1998, in Denver to Steve and Katie Narvaez. She spent her first year in Greeley before moving with her family to New Castle.

She attended preschool and kindergarten at Kathryn Senor Elementary School.

Keegan loved to swing, color, swim, play pat-a-cake, be with her friends at school, play with her brother, and cuddle with her mommy and daddy.

Keegan is survived by her parents, Steve and Katie Narvaez, and by her younger brother, William Narvaez, all of New Castle; by paternal grandparents Larry Narvaez and Ruth Marlow of Albuquerque, N.M.; by maternal grandparents George and Karen Shaver of Glenwood Springs; by a great-grandmother, Dora Montano of Albuquerque; by aunts Angela Narvaez of Denver and Amanda Shaver of Seattle; and by cousins Ashley and Jacob Madison of Denver.
