Keep up the good work, Glen Valley

Dear Editor,

My husband, Larry Hackett, recently had a two-month rehabilitation stay at Glen Valley Care Center in Glenwood Springs. It was with some reluctance that we chose this facility for his rehabilitation, since a previous experience, two and a half years ago, involving my mother, had not been positive for us.

Jane Norton, Director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, was tremendously helpful with her involvement in resolving and assisting the facility in improving many issues related to care and comfort of the residents of Glen Valley.

Under the able leadership of Dustin Dodson, administrator, the facility can be proud of the positive tone, care and teamwork experienced during this stay.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to the entire staff for the professional yet personal attention and care provided by every department during his inpatient stay and outpatient rehab. We can be proud to have this facility in our town, and it deserves community support!

Keep up the good work, Glen Valley.
