Kerri Lea Hamouz

Kerri Lea Hamouz of Aspen died Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Aspen Valley Hospital. She was 46.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 533 E. Main St. in Aspen with the Rev. Michael O’Brien officiating. Cremation will take place.

Mrs. Hamouz was born March 11, 1957, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Jerri Howitz and Harry Dwight Wagner.

She married James Hamouz.

Mrs. Hamouz worked as a forest ranger and later as a personal banker in Aspen.

She loved her cat Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry D. Wagner.

Mrs. Hamouz is survived by her husband, James Hamouz of Aspen; by her mother, Jerri Wagner of Colorado Springs; and by a daughter, Whitney Hamouz.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitney Hamouz Memorial Fund at Vectra Bank.

Farnum-Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
