Kit E. Goddard of Marble & DeBeque died Nov. 30 in Grand Junction. He was 56. He was born Sept. 24, 1953 in WaKeeney, Kan. He was an excavating heavy equipment operator and owner. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Jo Goddard. He is survived by his fiancee, Stephanie Perrin of Marble; son, Michael (Lisa) Goddard of San Diego, Calif.; brothers, David (Jill) Goddard of Russell, Kan., and George Riffel of Ness City, Kan.; and sisters Gloria (Duane) Harris of Stockton, Kan., and Terrie Goddard of Salina, Kan.; four grandchildren; and former wife, Bonnie Vasquez. Donation suggested to American Heart Association.
