Kiwanis pancake breakfast huge success

Dear Editor,

We would like to extend a special thank-you to all attendees, volunteers and local businesses that made last month’s 48th annual Kiwanis pancake breakfast a huge success.

Almost 700 breakfasts were served as locals enjoyed each others’ company during one of Glenwood Springs’ longest running traditions (Strawberry Days).

The pancake breakfast is one of the major fund-raisers for the Glenwood Springs Kiwanis evening club. Funds raised will once again be used for youth scholarships and other worthwhile community projects.

Village Inn provided the pancake batter, McDonalds donated juice and cups, True Brew Coffee Service served coffee, CMC supplied chairs, and Butler Rents provided the tables.

Thanks again to all of you for supporting this annual Kiwanis project which allows us to better serve the youth in our community.

Jeff Leonard, Dan Like, Rolf Hermanson and Joe O’Donnell
