Kyriakos (Eric) Stoupas

Kyriakos (Eric) Stoupas, 83, of Denver, died April 16, 2008.

He was born March 30, 1925, in Chios, Greece.

He and a friend sailed on a sailboat to Cypress from Greece in 1941 when he was 15, but the Greek Army wouldn’t take him because he were too young. He immigrated to the United States in 1968 with his wife and children.

He was a proud veteran of World War II and a painter of seascapes. He will be greatly missed.
