Lane closures on Grand Avenue Bridge Thursday
GLENWOOD SPRINGS ” The Colorado Department of Transportation will be doing inspection work on the Grand Avenue Bridge Thursday.
Crews will close one outside lane at a time beginning at 10 a.m. and is expected to be finished by noon, according to CDOT spokeswoman Nancy Shanks.
The inspection is part of a process called project scoping for an upcoming resurfacing project of the bridge which is scheduled to happen later this summer. Crews will be inspecting bridge joints and the condition of the concrete and bridge rail.
