Larry Elliot McClue

Larry Elliott McClue, 60, former area resident, died Oct. 30, 2008, at his home in Pinetop, Ariz.

Larry was born June 30, 1948, in Columbus, Ga., to Sid and Dottie McClue.

He was an avid metalworks artist, excellent mechanic and terrific handyman. He was also a student of history and loved to discuss governmental issues.

A kind and generous person, Larry would do anything for anybody. He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

Survivors include his constant companion, Alice Champagne of Pinetop; children Stephanie J. McClue of Kenai, Alaska, and Matthew G. McClue of Portland, Ore.; grandson Anson Ray McClue of Kenai; brother Sid (Barbara) McClue of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Andrew McClue; parents; and a younger brother, Thomas McClue.

Private services will be held.
