Larry J. Pretti passed away on Sept. 5, 2009 at St. Mary’s in Grand Junction. He was 68.

Larry was born, raised and spent his entire life in Glenwood Springs. He loved fishing and bowling. He was a master fly tyer and never lost his enthusiasm for tying flies in a thousand creative ways. He was a former Elk, Eagle member and a Glenwood Springs Volunteer Firefighter.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth “Betty” and Ernest “Babe” Pretti.

He is survived by his brother, Ralph of Glenwood.

In lieu of services, whenever you are out fishing, think of Larry. A fitting memorial for him.
