Larry Wayne Hert
Larry Wayne Hert, 68, of Glenwood Springs, passed away July 11, 2007. Larry was born on May 23, 1939, in Huntsville, Mo., to Jewel and Annabelle Hurt. He married Elaine Erikson June 29, 1972, in Denver.Larry is survived by his wife; sons Chris, Mike, Leonard, Steve and Scott; daughters Sue, Connie, Kathy and Mary; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 8-11 a.m. Monday, July 16, at the Farnum Holt Chapel. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the Farnum Holt Chapel. Burial will take place after the mass at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.

Garfield County to move to Level Blue on state’s COVID-19 dial Friday
Though it won’t bring major changes for most Garfield County businesses, local public health officials were notified Thursday that the county will move to the less-restrictive Level Blue, effective first thing Friday.
