I know it’s unpopular, but they say they’re helping with smokers’ health. We already pay enough additional taxes. We pay plenty. Basically, we’re getting screwed.”I was looking at a new car today, and it didn’t have an ashtray.”Snodgrass lived for a number of years in Aspen. “I’m ticked off at the Aspen law that you have to stand outside in a snowstorm to smoke.”Tammy Olson, of Basalt, works in Glenwood Springs. She doesn’t agree with the tax either.”I don’t think it’s fair, just because we smoke. If you don’t like it that’s your problem.
