Learning what’s important in life

Dear Editor,

It has been a most difficult two weeks for many of our friends in Glenwood, both known and unknown to us. For all those who helped save our small town and those who helped the helpers, we are ever so grateful.

We also count among our heroes those who are not as fortunate as we. To those who have shown unbelievable courage in the midst of great loss, we say thank you. From you we have learned much about what is truly important in life.

We would like to give a special thanks to the folks at KMTS Radio, who went far beyond the call of duty to help keep all of us informed about the fire. They sacrificed time, sleep and the comforts of home, while making press conferences and fire updates continually available. You are appreciated. Our prayers are with all of Glenwood as lives, hopes and dreams move from ashes to realization.
