Dear Editor,

I open the paper and always give a sigh of frustration when I see Bob Anderson’s name at the bottom of a letter to the editor. I sigh because I know Bob’s letter will probably make me angry and say things I completely disagree with.

That is why I read every letter Bob writes.

Recently a woman wrote in reprimanding the Post for printing one of Bob’s letters, but I thank him for writing them though I never agree with him.

It is not the media’s job to filter and censor our opinions. I read Bob’s letters because they do make me mad but also reaffirm my beliefs because I see the alternative.

I might think Bob is a putz, but he keeps my brain working and my convictions strong. I’m sure those around me are tired of my complaining of Bob Anderson … but I hope he keeps writing in.
