January 25, 1915 – August 15, 2004Lillian Opal Berges, 89, of Glenwood Springs died Aug. 15, 2004, in Glenwood Springs.She was born in Lake Park, Iowa, Jan. 25, 1915, the daughter of Charles and Ima Mae (McLachlin) Renftle.She married Leland A. Berges on Jan. 4, 1940. He preceded her in death in October 1983.She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Glenwood Springs.Survivors include a daughter, Stella (Glen) Norton of Longmont; a granddaughter, Linda (David) Zeutzius of Erie; great-grandchildren Amanda and Joshua Zeutzius; a step-grandson, Kurt Norton of Burlington, Wash; sisters Kathryn Grange of Glenwood Springs and Ruth A. Scarrow of New Castle; and a step-granddaughter, Dr. Eileen Norton of Brentwood, Calif.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Lee Berges in 1992; and a brother, Harvey P.
