Linda Lou Colonna of Parachute, passed away Feb. 26, 2011 at St. Mary’s hospital due to complications from illness at 57 years young.

Linda was born Oct. 7, 1953 in Menasha, Wis. to Robert and Gladys Brownell. She spent her childhood traveling the states with her family, ending in Colorado, where she was a resident most of her life.

Linda graduated from Glenwood Springs High School and later attended Mesa State College where she studied culinary arts. Everything she cooked was amazing. She enjoyed making her own silver jewelry and loved being outdoors.

Linda had a heart larger than life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a special place for her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her parents, Robert and Gladys Brownell of Zapata, Texas; son, Robert Colonna of Parachute; daughter, Morgan Corona and three grandchildren, all of Grand Junction; sisters, Mary Bishop of Price, Utah and Marie Hudson of Menasha Wis.

We will miss our daughter, mother, sister, grandma, and friend. A celebration of her life will be held June 12, 2011.
