Local author to host book signings

Post Independent
Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

Author Joyce Yoder from Glenwood Springs recently had her book “Memories from Grandma’s Playhouse” published by AuthorHouse. Raised on a small farm in northern Lower Michigan, Joyce learned the value of working together as a family and the importance of the community and church pulling together during difficult times. She shares a poignant tale of her youth that may cause you to chuckle or bring tears to your eyes as you read about the good, the bad, the funny, the sad, and the mundane experiences that profoundly formed her character and identity. Childhood memories will be stirred in older readers, and children and younger readers will be amused at and educated in the reality of a simpler life and the lessons learned.

“Memories from Grandma’s Playhouse” is available for purchase from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. A book signing will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Church at Redstone, where the book will be available for purchase at a discounted price of $20. A book signing will also be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Valley View Hospital in the upper lobby.
