The Mount Sopris, Bookcliff and South Side Conservation Districts and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will hold their annual dinner meeting at the historic Hotel Colorado, 526 Pine in Glenwood Springs, at 6 p.m. on Nov. 3. This year, “I Remember One Horse . . .,” a documentary of local cowboys will be presented. This meeting is held each year for those who would like to know more about the accomplishments and current projects of the Conservation Districts and Natural Resources Conservation Service, and for the landowners that have worked with them in the past. Please call the District office at 945-5494, ext. 101, for reservations by Nov. 4. Dinner is $22 per person.

The Office of Suicide Prevention and the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado will hold a town hall meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Glenwood Springs City Hall council chambers. Learn about what resources are available and discuss what issues are relevant to the community. Topics will include a profile of suicides in Colorado, risk and protective factors, and the direction of suicide prevention in the state.
