Sunlight Mountain Resort is ringing in the spring season by hosting the annual Crystal River Spas Spring Thing this weekend, March 21-22.

There will also be a dual slalom mountain bike race on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Registration for the race is $10 and begins at noon, with practice runs beginning at 10 a.m.

The celebration will continue into the afternoon on the sundeck with live reggae music and boat drink specials from 1 p.m. on.

Sunday, the Children’s Rocky Mountain School will host a variety of events on how to raise money for their preschool, including a sausage race, snowman building contest and a silent auction.
